CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (October 12, 2006) - As a part of its continued commitment to sustainable practices, Rockwell Collins announced today its participation in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA’s) Climate Leaders program. By participating in Climate Leaders, Rockwell Collins has pledged to reduce its corporate-wide greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. The company is evaluating current energy usage and emission levels and will announce its five-year goal in March 2007.

Launched in February 2002, EPA’s Climate Leaders is an industry-government partnership that works to develop long-term comprehensive corporate climate change strategies.

“Rockwell Collins’ voluntary participation in EPA’s Climate Leaders program demonstrates a serious commitment to corporate social responsibility,” said Kathleen Hogan, Director of EPA’s Climate Protection Partnerships Division. Rockwell Collins reduction goal will help lead the way in improving our environment and reducing the risks of climate change"

Climate Leaders Partners set a corporate-wide greenhouse gas reduction goal and inventory their emissions to measure progress.
