Net Insight announces new contract with GlobeCast

October 12, 2006 - Stockholm –– Content management and delivery company GlobeCast has signed an order with Net Insight AB for an upgrade of its worldwide global fiber network at approximately 30 sites in Europe, Asia and the United States.

The order follows the installation and successful implementation in early 2006 of a network to carry more than 100 video, voice and data channels between GlobeCast’s facilities in France.

GlobeCast, a subsidiary of France Telecom, is a global content management and delivery company. Via its worldwide satellite and fibre network, the company manages and transports 10 million hours of video and other rich media yearly for its core customer base of broadcasters, as well as corporate, government and retail clients.
