Operitel Corporation announced today the release of Version 5.5 of its award winning LearnFlex™ Learning Management System

Peterborough, ON: October 10th, 2006 – Operitel Corporation, developers of the award winning LearnFlex™ Learning Management System announced today the release of LearnFlex™ v5.5. This new version offers a number of new and improved functionalities including a greatly enhanced compliancy tracking engine.

LearnFlex™ is a highly adaptable, full-featured Learning Management System (LMS). As one of the few LMS products on the market developed with sound educational principles, it is based on adult learning principles, the use of educational objectives, the tracking of competencies, and multiple methods of instruction and evaluation. The services oriented architecture (SOA) of the software provides an infrastructure for the delivery of very flexible learning technology solutions.

LearnFlex™ 5.5 offers a greatly enhanced compliancy tracking engine that makes the monitoring of certification status easy. It also enhances the travel and accommodations management features of the LMS and improves administration of grades and other achievement indicators.

Training needs must be identified, plans established, training conducted, and up-to-date records of the training maintained. The greatly enhance compliancy tracking engine includes new comprehensive, real-time reporting on all compliance activities to give administrators and managers real-time, accurate information on the progress of their staff. Detailed reporting and analysis tools allow users to query, manage and assess various employee metrics as required. Managers can know exactly who’s studying what, how diligently and how successfully. Records can be maintained centrally and easily exported to remote locations. Custom reports can be formatted to meet local regulatory authority standards.

LearnFlex™ compliancy reports are used primarily to obtain status and progress information from users registered for courses, diplomas and structured learning paths. Compliancy reports include Diploma Compliancy Report, Certification Progress Report, Learn Track Status Report, Non-Compliant Course Report, Summary Learning and Achievement Report.

The Travel and Accommodations Manager is a set of electronic application forms that enhances the existing travel request and travel management experience. New features include improved notifications, manager approval for travel requests and the ability to store detailed information in the database for reporting purposes.

The administration of student grades has been improved and allows administrators to quickly view and update transcripts or results for multiple individuals within a class list.
