Motorola Builds Upon Its Commitment to 802.16e at WiMAX World USA in Boston


Motorola Networks & Enterprise President Greg Brown to deliver keynote on “The State of Wireless Broadband and Its Future”

BOSTON. Mass. – WiMAX World USA – 10 Oct. 2006 Motorola, Inc. (MOT:NYSE) announces its participation as the Conference Host of WiMAX World USA 2006 that opens today and runs through October 12.

WiMAX World USA conference and expo is described by organizers as the largest wireless and mobile broadband event in the world with a focus on WiMAX. Trendsmedia has announced that over 4,000 professionals have pre-registered to attend and a conference program that features over 175 speakers.

Motorola is participating in nine sessions throughout the conference, including a keynote from Motorola Networks & Enterprise President Greg Brown titled “The State of Wireless Broadband and Its Future.” Directly following Brown’s keynote he will participate in an executive roundtable “The Clearwire Partnership and the Future of Wireless Broadband”, moderated by Conference Co-Chair and Chief Strategy Officer at Yankee Group, Berge Ayvazian.

In addition, Motorola Networks & Enterprise Senior Vice President Dan Coombes will be leading a Power Breakfast session titled “Fitting WiMAX Into the Broadband Access Mix.”
