Unistream, the Russian money transfer operator has become the first among the country’s money transfer operator to exceed over $1billion in its annual turnover.
Indeed, business has been so brisk that this year they reached $1 300 million by September. At the going rate, it is expected to reach $2 billion by the end of the year.
The existing dynamic market has prompted Unistream to review their operations. Says the CEO Souren Hayriyan: ”We consider this result to be a great success. It has become possible due to upgrading our systems".
The programme included intensive expansion of the system worldwide by signing new partnership agreements, and developing an efficiently functioning international service point network where the whole set of Unistream’s services are available.
Mr Hayriyan :”Ever since 2001 when we started our operations, we have been regularly perfecting our work, constantly developing new strategies, implementing new IT-systems and carrying out programmes to improve the team’s skills. All this has lead to the great results.”
Today Unistream operates in 85 countries providing high quality services in over 25,000 service points. As Mr Hayriyan says; ”We have a truly global reach.”
Unistream is the major sponsor of the Global Consumer Money Transfers conference on Monday October 30th, at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Knightsbridge, London. It will be chaired by Lord Norman Lamont with a high profile list of speakers.
