Former Bhutanese refugee and author Tika Dhungana knows more about challenges than most people. He and his family were forced to leave their beloved country and home. About the Author
Originally from Bhutan, Tika Ram Dhungana was thirteen when he and his family were forced to leave
home. They sought refuge in Nepal at his early age.Tika spent eighteen years in the refugee camp and got
his higher education from India India . He studied and earned his master’s degree in chemistry from
Nepal’s Tribhuvan University.

Currently living in the United States, Tika wants to help people who are facing challenges to find hope.
This is the rationale for Satisfaction and Service. In his free time, Tika likes to read and listen to
motivational speakers. Someday, he wants to share his experiences and wisdom to other people.
