KODAK i1200, i1300 Series Scanners Will Turn Heads of Users Looking to Increase Office Productivity

The KODAK i1210 and i1220 Scanners for the workgroup segment, and the KODAK i1310 and i1320 Scanners for the departmental segment—now going forth into the marketplace—are sure to turn heads of those looking for distributed desktop document scanners to improve office productivity. The Kodak designed and manufactured scanners offer “three T’s” of features that are at the forefront of industry. Tilt and scan allows the user to adjust the scanner to operate in any available workspace; Touch refers to smart touch scanning for single touch button operation to send scanned images to network, email, print or a favorite desktop application in a number of file formats including searchable PDF; and Tether refers to the attachable flatbed A4-size scanning accessory that connects to the scanner via tethered cable for imaging fragile or bound documents and furthers workplace placement options.

Each series offer simplex (i1210, i1310) and duplex (i1220, i1320) models and all include enhanced Perfect Page image processing technology for producing high-quality images with ease. The workgroup i1200 Series captures images at up to 30 pages or 60 images per minute, while the departmental i1300 Series offers a maximum speed of 60 pages or 120 images pages per minute, the fastest speed in this category.

As acurrentuser of the high-end KODAK i610 Scanners, I saw that many of the features of the i610 Scanner had been incorporated into the 1320 Scanner, said the Operations Manager for a major US financial firm. “Some of thesimilarfeatures are the roller assembles,the sheet feeders, and the most impressive was the ultrasonic multi-page detection system. The tilt feature that allows for continuous feed for larger jobs and adjusts to upright for regular use is also a great feature that makes the scanner a good choice for desk topuse to midrange scanner jobs. The unit is compact and very quiet. The ability to pre-program nine settings witha one-touch selection is a time saving feature for pre-defined document sets. I’ve already signed up to test the unit in a production setting when they become available.”
