Elsevier Partners With Institute of Coal Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences
Amsterdam, 27 September 2006 – Elsevier is delighted to announce its partnership with the Institute of Coal Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Science Press, over the publication of the journal New Carbon Materials. This quarterly publication now joins the China Collection on Elsevier’s ScienceDirect® online platform.
New Carbon Materials is a leading Chinese-language journal that publishes research results devoted to the physics, chemistry and technology of those organic substances that are precursors of new carbons, and the materials that may be produced from those organic precursors. The journal has been ranked #1 in the Chinese material science area for the past five years, and was also ranked 4th out of all 6000 Chinese journals indexed by Thomson Scientific ISI in 2005. Translations of the best articles will be included in the China Collection on Elsevier’s ScienceDirect® electronic journal platform.
