Oki Electric Provides its IP Contact Center System to Everlife, a Japanese Mail Order Marketing Company

Tokyo, Japan, September 27, 2006 -- Oki Electric Industry Co., Ltd. (TSE: 6703) today announced it has delivered an IP contact center to Everlife Co., Ltd., a provider of mail-order health food products. The system includes 350 seats and is based on Oki’s contact center system, CTstage® 4i for .NET, enabling flexible expansion for future growth.

Everlife has been increasing its sales through nationwide TV commercials and thorough customer service by providing dedicated operators to serve their customers. As the business expands, they needed to increase the number of operators to respond to inquiries and telephone orders, and to improve their business efficiency for follow-up calls. Everlife selected Oki’s CTstgae 4i for its innovative technology and strong track record.

Follow-up calls can also be made easily, as operators can search the customers’ name and make a phone call by simply clicking the name.
