SANTA CLARA, CA—SEPTEMBER 25, 2006—NVIDIA Corporation (Nasdaq: NVDA), the worldwide leader in programmable graphics processor technologies, today announced that the Company’s NVIDIA nForce Professional core-logic solutions have been selected to power a variety of AMD Opteron™ x86-based platforms from HP, including the HP xw9400 workstation and the HP ProLiant DL145 and DL585 rack-optimized servers; as well as the HP ProLiant BL685 server blade.

The NVIDIA nForce Professional series of core logic solutions is designed to address reliability, availability and serviceability requirements of the enterprise market while providing uncompromising system, PCI Express, and Gigabit Ethernet performance. Today’s announcement marks continued momentum for the Company’s enterprise-class platform solutions which continue to be broadly deployed by leading OEMS, system integrators, and small-to-medium-sized businesses.

“NVIDIA is proud to work with HP to deliver workstation and server solutions improving the performance, availability, and manageability of the enterprise data center,” said Manoj Gujral, general manager of the NVIDIA server MCP business. “NVIDIA is unique in that we offer a common architecture that enables server and workstation OEMs such as HP the ability to build entry-level solutions, but scale their portfolios with common building blocks to develop very high-end systems.”

“The NVIDIA nForce Professional MCP is a valuable contribution to the reliability, manageability and powerful platforms for which HP ProLiant servers and server blades are known,” said Paul Miller, vice president, marketing, Industry Standard Servers and BladeSystem Division, HP.
