Author Collette Jackson Fink’s “Daughters of Twilight” Continues to Thrill and Haunt Readers

Author Collette Jackson-Fink has written a fiction book about a special tactical team which has been trained for normal encounters with flesh and blood (not supernatural) beings.  The story is set in the quiet Midwest city of Waterloo, Iowa; and it is about to come to life… with angels!

When an earthquake measuring seven hits Waterloo, a huge black pyramid shaped tower pushes its way up through a corn field in Blackhawk County, spinning the city into the national spotlight. It’s thought that the “Black Tower” is dormant, but when special tactical teams are sent inside to investigate, special team member Dane Coles is confronted with the impossible… a beautiful creature that has been cursed and cast down into oblivion within the Garden of Eden, using the ‘Black Tower’ as a doorway to the surface.

This book has several things going for it. It is a brand new take on angels, who they are, why they are, and their relationship with the humans. “Daughters of Twilight” is truly a non-stop action and a refreshing book to read. The readers will surely be engaged throughout the entire book. Moreover, the dialog never bogs down the story, most of it is clearly moving the story along, allowing readers to entertain themselves with its every page. The fiction book is fun, interesting, hard to put down, and internally consistent with how the story flows. Readers would also be interested to know that this is the first book of a trilogy and its second book, “Sons of Twilight,” will be hitting the press this 2017.

About the Author
Collette Jackson-Fink has been writing since she was 13 years old, but this is her first novel. A Persian Gulf veteran, Collette works as a Respiratory Therapist at a trauma center in her home state of Iowa with her husband, Ron.
