“The world is a much better place, and hope is renewed when we witness what these two people have achieved, and those causes to which they dedicate their life and passion.”

Utmost: The Quest of Two Global Humanitarian Physicians to Give Their Utmost to the World is a collection of reflective stories by Dr. Ashis Brahma and Dr. Elizabeth Garcia-Janis. The book features stories from their personal experiences of serving underprivileged countries that are often hit by calamities.

In the book, they recount their introduction in 2006, when they began a correspondence that dwelled on their “quest to live to the utmost with love and compassion for humankind.”  They also share their struggles they underwent and the core values they learned that influenced their journey.

Gilet Marco, an Amazon reviewer from Los Angeles, California, says, “The world is a much better place, and hope is renewed when we witness what these two people have achieved, and those causes to which they dedicate their life and passion.”

The book was exhibited at LitFire’s booth during this year’s 68th Frankfurt Book Fair from October 19 to 23. The event was held at the Frankfurt Trade Fair grounds in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
