The Dolomite Challenge is a story focusing on the bonds of men. Not all struggles can be conquered without the help of others, and this is certainly highlighted in Joyce’s book.

LitFire Publishing featured Tom Joyce’s book entitled The Dolomite Challenge in Frankfurt Book Fair 2016. The book is the third novel in Joyce’s series following fictional Vienna police inspector Karl Marbach.

Set in Vienna, Austria, after World War II, police inspector Karl Marbach is on another mission to end Nazism. Marbach’s team operates covertly to capture a big player in the mass deportation of Jews, only to be surrounded by large enemy forces. With no other way, Marbach and his team are forced to traverse the Dolomite Mountains, putting themselves at the mercy of nature’s wrath.

“[Joyce] brings firsthand knowledge to this fascinating aspect of history. Overall, the book offers a nice escape for lovers of historical, military, and spy or detective fiction. It’s a light read that covers thought-provoking topics and provides a unique glimpse into history.”—Foreword Reviews
