Sansoro Health Chief Medical Officer to Speak at Health IT Summit

Sansoro Health, a healthcare technology company offering integration software for electronic medical record (EMR) platforms, announced today that Dr. Dave Levin, Chief Medical Officer (CMO), will speak at the Healthcare Informatics Health IT Summit in Washington D.C. on Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2016. As a conference co-chair, Levin will officially kick off the conference presenting opening remarks, and also co-host a panel discussion entitled ‘Interoperability: A Contrarian Point of View.’
 
As a moderator for the panel discussion, Levin will facilitate a conversation among four industry experts about interoperability. Today’s conventional wisdom states that there are significant technical, financial and legal barriers to achieving true interoperability in healthcare IT. Levin will guide the panel to consider how interoperability impacts the healthcare delivery system, barriers to interoperability and discuss possible solutions.

David Levin, MD is a physician executive with over 25 years of experience in healthcare information systems, clinical operations and enterprise strategic planning. Prior to joining Sansoro, he served as Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO) for the Cleveland Clinic Health System (CCHS), where he led the Clinical Systems Office. Dr. Levin has founded several healthcare IT startups and served as an advisor to many more. He is a nationally recognized speaker and has appeared in academic, industry and consumer media.
