Personalized wedding gifts are seeing an increase in interest among gift givers. The desire to give a gift that is not “off-the-shelf” is increasingly important to many people. We offer a truly handmade, custom cutting board item that is beautiful to look at, hold and display. No two are ever alike and the engraved designs makes it truly a unique gift.
Wonderwheel Studio uses a laser engraver to engrave the designs into the cutting boards. Using a laser engraver allows us to add complex designs to the boards without the constraints that we would have using a router or CNC machine. The laser engraver can engrave or cut very thin lines with minute detail. The VersaLaser by Universal Laser Systems is the main tool in the shop for creating these custom cutting boards. The engraver allows them to create a very polished product with a minimum of finishing after the engraving process.
