Letter to Troy Echoes of Redemption Written by David Caringer

Letter to Troy is a recommended book to Christians and believers everywhere. It affirms readers that amidst bad choices, loss, and regret, recovery is still possible, and that “God [is] faithful [even] when we are not,”

Letter to Troy: Echoes of Redemption is David Caringer’s semi-autobiography. He chronicles how he found his way back to living a life according to the Lord.

Caringer’s life, like most of ours, has always been a mix of ups and downs. It is through this roller coaster ride that he veered away from the Christian life he was accustomed to and lived a worldly life instead. In this book he details how probable it is for a sinful man to change into a man of God. Through this book, Caringer also shares a powerful message that “God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through Him.”

Letter to Troy is a recommended book to Christians and believers everywhere. It affirms readers that amidst bad choices, loss, and regret, recovery is still possible, and that “God [is] faithful [even] when we are not,” Dr. Susan Langston, a professor in Evangel University says.

This book was displayed in LitFire’s booth during the Book Expo America and was enjoyed by readers and other attendees. The event was held last May 11 to 13, 2016 at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois.
