In 1980s New Jersey, Dr. Love and his party girl are famous for giving fancy parties attended by many. For six years, they entertain guests of different backgrounds and diverse cultures. While he provides the resources, she gives life to the party with food, dancing, and décor. As the party girl lives her life to the fullest, her teenage son, who lives away with his father, is having trouble in school.

Dr. Love and His Party Girl shares the ups and downs of Berman’s life as a married woman. Her happiness with her husband is contrasted by the struggles of her son. This book will show how she juggles her responsibilities as a good mother and loving wife under the circumstances.

About the Author

Esther Jane Berman has served as a professor of English and French. She earned her master’s degree in language education in Rutgers University. She has published several books, such as Photograph Cats, The Oh La! La! Cake Cook Book, Hot Birthday Cakes, and The Exotic Dancer. Presently, she resides in Summit, New Jersey with her husband, Linus.
