Drawbridge Names Silicon Valley Finance Vet Matthew Gallatin as First CFO
Drawbridge, the leading anonymized digital identity company, today announced the appointment of Matthew Gallatin as the company’s first Chief Financial Officer. Gallatin most recently served as CFO of single sign-on and identity management provider OneLogin, and previously as CFO of social data platform ShareThis, where he was instrumental to the company’s Series C round of fundraising and subsequent growth. Gallatin has also held executive roles at Brand.net, Yahoo, and Merrill Lynch.
“Matt brings in the precise mix of martech and enterprise software experience that’s perfect given the trajectory of our business,” said Drawbridge Founder & CEO Kamakshi Sivaramakrishnan. “I’m very excited to welcome him on board as our first Chief Financial Officer, adding to the strength of our stellar global leadership team as we extend the applications for anonymous digital identity outside of martech and become the true universal currency for identity.”
“Drawbridge is at an inflection point in terms of scaling the engineering and commercial teams, diversifying its revenue, and addressing a large market opportunity, and I’m thrilled to be joining at this pivotal time,” said Gallatin. “The company has a great offering and a wide opportunity – it’s definitely an exciting time to be coming on board.”
Gallatin’s appointment comes at time of continued momentum for Drawbridge, with the company recently named to the 2016 Inc. 5000 list for the second year in a row, as well as the closing of its Series C funding round led by Sequoia Capital this Spring. On the heels of evolving its core offering to include data licensing and a software-as-a-service platform, the company announced an annualized run-rate of $100M in Q4 of 2015.
“It’s been a privilege to be a part of Drawbridge’s success over the past five-plus years as the market for anonymized digital identity has grown to widespread adoption,” said Menlo Ventures Managing Director and Drawbridge Board Member Matt Murphy. “This is an important hire for Drawbridge, and the timing is ideal given the continued expansion of the company’s addressable market and direction of the business.”
