Author Lupita Samuels has published a book, entitled Think Folks Are Too Light? Think Again! Court Square in Decatur, Georgia.

Lupita Samuels was born in Costa Rica. She earned her bachelor’s degree from New York University and obtained her master’s degree at Bank Street College of Education. She has taught in the New York City public school system for over twenty years.
