“A great kid’s book! Reminds me of when I was young and had adventures with my own grandparents. I love the forests [in Oregon] and fell in love with them when I went to visit my own grandmother who lived up there. Also, the artwork is very detailed. This is a real keeper.”

On the 10th AJC Decatur Book Festival, LitFire Publishing featured Dorothy Bruemmer’s book, entitled The Mystery at Tater Hill, from September 2 to 4, 2016, at 101 E. Court Square, Decatur, Georgia.

Annie, Daniel, and Tess always spend their summers at their grandparents’ farm. There are so many ways to have fun at the farm, and they like helping out with the chores too. The farm has different lands to explore, but there is one area they were warned to stay away from. However, curiosity overwhelms them, and they sneak out to Tater Hill, finding something quite unreal.

Tina Foster, an Amazon reviewer, gives a five-star rating on the book, saying, “A great kid’s book! Reminds me of when I was young and had adventures with my own grandparents. I love the forests [in Oregon] and fell in love with them when I went to visit my own grandmother who lived up there. Also, the artwork is very detailed. This is a real keeper.”

The Mystery at Tater Hill is indeed a fantastic read; you wouldn’t expect a kid’s book to be this substantial. Not to mention, the illustrations are playfully constructed but certainly well-thought-out.

More than one thousand world-class authors and hundreds of thousands of festival goers had participated in the annual event.
