Author Shares How Experiences Leave Us with Unforgettable Life Lessons
Inspirational memoir touched many hearts at Beijing International Book Fair last August.
Life has a way of giving us lessons we never forget for as long as we live.
Life has a way of giving us lessons we never forget for as long as we live. That is the central theme of Dr. Rosalie H. Contino’s book entitled, As Life Goes On: Lessons One Doesn’t Want to Have to Learn.
In her memoir, Rosalie reveals the sudden turning point in her life while she is chasing after her dreams. She receives a phone call from her brother’s boss who informs her that Bob has to retire because he is no longer as reliable as he used to be. What hurts Rosalie the most is how Bob’s boss deals with Bob after he has “outlived” his usefulness. Being a loving sister, Rosalie abandons her dreams to take care of her sixty-one-year-old ailing brother.
As Life Goes On: Lessons One Doesn’t Want to Have to Learn was featured at the 23rd Beijing International Book Fair. The event was held last August 24–28, 2016, in Beijing, China.
