QUALCOMM and Continental Sign CDMA2000 Telematics Module License Agreement

SAN DIEGO — September 18, 2006 — QUALCOMM Incorporated (Nasdaq: QCOM), a leading developer and innovator of Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) and other advanced wireless technologies, and Continental AG (Continental), a leading global automotive supplier, today announced that they have entered into a CDMA2000® telematics module license agreement. Under the terms of the royalty-bearing agreement, QUALCOMM has granted Continental a worldwide license under its CDMA patent portfolio to develop, manufacture and sell CDMA2000 telematics modules.
