Company Releases Book: “Cooking on Time,” Inspired by “McDonald’s Man” Poem

“Cooking on Time” is not just another recipe book. Much like the Kanye West Poem: “McDonald’s Man,” “Cooking on Time” offers tips on how to make food tastier, and it does it with rhyme. The publisher, Holland Meissner Company, says the book is perfect for adults and children who have a passion for cooking. The company explains, that “everyone has a recipe, but cooking tips makes ones food differ from another.” The book is fairly new, but has already captured the attention of professionally trained chefs.  One chef responded: “spot on,” in reference to the book.

“For anyone who cooks, there is a valid need for the book,” explains company founder, Amber Persons.  “And we offer things in various formats—videos, pictures, ads, and written. On Twitter and Instagram, Cooking on Time is constantly sharing what we are making in the Cooking on Time kitchen.”

Utilizing feedback from a focus group and following the company’s motto of ‘In Simple English,’ Holland Meissner Company is the first company specializing in “quick read” books and booklets. The company is also hoping to expand by following their international mottos of Einfach Deutch (In simple German)  and En Fácil Español (In Simple Spanish). The company has begun testing to see if the book should be released in other languages such as, German and Spanish. “We have to see how this first book blossoms first, and that will give us much needed feedback,” Persons explains.
