Mississippi Field Produces Business Tycoon?

A Chinese migrant does advanced math and a young lady from the fields of Mississippi builds a Nobel Peace Prize worthy economic theory.

Due to a pen name she uses, many know her as Holland Meissner of hollandmeissner.com. But, Holland is more than an author. She is the quintessential Southern girl who has journeyed from teen mother to economic theorist.

Holland admits to being labeled as “cheap.” But, explains that as a young mother, she had to learn to be “economically wise.” With a young child and desires to become the best business owner, she often found ways to maximize a dollar.  One way was supplementing her income by writing.

This not only led her to pen the economic theory, diluted property rights.  But, she went on to start her own company offering summaries of business research. “I call it bridging the gap between research and business practitioners,” she explains. “Everything we do is in simple English. That’s our motto.”

“Research has shown that businesses often lag behind research, so Holland Meissner Company is bringing research summaries in 700 words or less to business professionals. We take a research paper that may be 50 pages long and offer an editorial on it,” Holland continues.
