Jan Wäreby appointed as Senior Vice President and Head of business unit Multimedia at Ericsson

London, UK – 18 September 2006 – Sony Ericsson today announced that Jan Wäreby, Corporate Executive Vice President and Head of Sales and Marketing, has been appointed as Senior Vice President and Head of business unit Multimedia at Ericsson. The appointment is effective as of 1st January 2007 and Wäreby will be based at the Ericsson global headquarters in Kista, Sweden.

Wäreby has held his current position at Sony Ericsson since the establishment of the joint venture on 1st October 2001. Prior to joining Sony Ericsson, Wäreby held the position of Executive Vice President and Head of Consumer Products Division at Ericsson.
