“You are never too young or too old to follow your dreams, to fulfill your passion, and to do what you were born to do. With will and determination, you can do anything. You can be anything you want to be.”

Designed to empower readers, Born to Create is Rosalie Contino’s story of how she managed to pursue her lifelong passion.

Formerly a 7th grade English teacher, Rosalie is now a writer, costume designer, costume historian, lecturer, and playwright. At the age of forty, she managed to pursue her lifelong passion to create. When asked what she wants to say to her readers, Rosalie answered: “You are never too young or too old to follow your dreams, to fulfill your passion, and to do what you were born to do. With will and determination, you can do anything. You can be anything you want to be.”

In line with her major career change, she has written and published a book, Born to Create, that details her transition from one career path to another. The memoir, which was first published in May of 2007, has been republished by LitFire Publishing in the 4th quarter of 2015.

Born to Create, the first book in Rosalie’s repertoire, has been displayed in various local and international book fairs and festivals.
