About the Author

Born to a Lithuanian father and a Japanese mother, Edmund Anthony Talmont practiced the Roman Catholic Christian teachings in his early childhood. He went to Tarrant County Junior College, where he took a philosophy course that taught him the idea of religious freedom. Edmund has been practicing Nichiren Daishonin’s Buddhism for more than 25 years. He obtained a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Texas at Arlington. Edmund is a certified public accountant and works as a lead database administrator as his second career.
