“What I like about this book is how the author made me feel like planet Harare really exists. It even has excerpts from Johan Becker’s studies, from Harare University lectures, and a lot more.”

Originally published in September 2014, the sci-fi novel, Visitor from Harare, by Edward Purizhansky has been republished by LitFire – a POD publisher – in August 2015. It also features a new and improved cover design.

The story revolves around an alien from planet Harare who goes by the name Johan Becker. He was sent to planet Earth to conduct a study on humans. In his expedition, he meets a Russian family who had just migrated to the United States. Culture-shocked and struggling, they made Johan’s study even more interesting.

Readers have found the book to be a gem among other new releases in the science fiction genre for the wit and humor that it holds.

Robert Bezanson, a reader from Dallas, TX, stated in his review: “What I like about this book is how the author made me feel like planet Harare really exists. It even has excerpts from Johan Becker’s studies, from Harare University lectures, and a lot more.”

Currently available only as a paperback, digital formats of the book will soon be sold in various online bookstores.
