About the Author

In 1937, Christel Bresko was born in Germany. Her father served the German Army until 1945. Her mother took care of her and her siblings when her father was away. When the chaos of war subsided, Bresko went to England in 1957 to study the English language. A year later, she studied nursing, and in 1962, she received her degree. She moved to USA in 1968.
