A Mother’s Book to Commemorate Her Deceased Son, Joining Frankfurt Book Fair 2015

Laura Schaufel, a mother, had published a book, which she dedicated to her deceased son, Craig. In this book are snippets of her life and a number of known prayers, which she uses daily.
In the book, the author, who had always turned to God in times of joy and sorrow, said, “Touching lives spiritually is my intent and purpose for writing this book.”

About the Author
Laura Schaufel grew up in Jerome, Pennsylvania, but moved to Folsom, California with her family, in 1963. After serving for many years in private industry, she proceeded to work for the State of California, and became the California Department of Transportation’s expert on the Title VI Program. She led the development and implementation of non-discrimination guidelines for the state. As a result, the Federal Government recognizes California as the leader in Title VI implementation and has used it as a model for other states.
