What does a mother do when she loses the greatest gift God has ever bestowed upon her? An author answers this question as she writes a book entitled, Life, It’s a Beautiful Thing.

Laura Schaufel, a mother, had published a book, which she dedicated to her deceased son, Craig. In this book are snippets of her life and a number of known prayers, which she uses daily.

In the book, the author, who had always turned to God in times of joy and sorrow, said, “Touching lives spiritually is my intent and purpose for writing this book.”

Published in 2011, the book has received mixed reviews online. Laura S., a reader, stated in her review on Amazon: “It really made me think about my own story and grief. I hope that I can find my faith and strength again.”

One from the Reader Views website complimented the author’s writing by saying, “Schaufel writes with a vivid passion; she sets the mood and puts the reader into the story with her beautiful imagery.”

This October, the inspirational book will be joining the selected list of literary works to be featured at the publishing industry’s grandest event, the Frankfurt International Book Fair (FIBF).

The book will be displayed in LitFire’s booth during the Frankfurt International Book Fair 2015. Those who are interested to get to know the book more are welcome to visit the booth this October 14-18, 2015.
