About the Author
Pastor William E. Land is the sixth child in a family of ten, brought up by his mother who was a missionary. He graduated from Mechanic Arts Senior High in 1973.
William worked a number of jobs, and was an employee for more than thirty-three years at Honeywell Inc. During this time, he accepted Christ as his personal Savior. At C.H. Mason Bible School in Minneapolis, he met his wife, Shirley. They have been married for twenty-eight years and have five loving children.
Under the mentorship of Supt Timothy L. Barge, Pastor William E. Land was ordained as an Elder in the Church of God in Christ. Since 1997, he has been the Pastor of Saint Albans COGIC.
