About the Author

Deane Addison Knapp grew up in a family of wonderfully talented writers. His grandfather had published poems from the 1940s to 1950s, and his father, brothers, sister, and relatives continued to pursue the craft.
The author currently resides in the Puget Sound region of Washington State, just two miles away from where his great-grandfather lived after the Civil War in 1869.
