Author Takes Readers Deep in to The Art of Photography

Out of his dedication for his craft, Andrew Boyd released a book entitled Photographic Art: The Digital Canvas. This book will be featured during Book Expo America—the biggest book fair in the nation.

This book is packed with technical and professional insights about photography. To make it more useful to those who are fascinated by the art, he added photos of himself working, taken by an assistant. He also included photos of different locations and subjects, and paired them with descriptions.

Boyd’s overall aim is for the book to manifest the depth of his work as a photographer. He wants readers to see the “difference between photography as an art and commercial work” (Boyd). He also hopes this book will help those who are interested in improving their photographic work.

About the Author

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Andrew Boyd studied under Eastman Kodak Company for lighting, film manufacturing and development. His photography career started with commercial and advertising materials for Cleveland and New York agencies. He has authored 15 books and most of them are about digital photography.
