About the Author

Mihaela S. Hegstrom was born in Bucharest, Romania. She earned a degree in mechanical engineering and a teaching certificate from the Technical University for Civil Engineers – Mechanical Department in Bucharest. It was after receiving her degree when she started to write and explore poetry. In 1979, she moved to the United States with her family, where met her husband, Robert Hegstrom. Her second book, The Mysteries of My Soul, was published in January 2016.
