Highlighting the architecture of the older houses in the Bahamian island, the book inspires travelers, island-cruising enthusiasts, architectural-history readers, and island dreamers.

In his book, Hope Town: Reality of a Dream, author Richard L. Seaberg draws from personal experiences and his creative talents to weave a story of philosophy and the history of a Bahamian village known as Hope Town.

In part 1 of the book, readers are transported back in time via a historically-inspired tale featuring the early settlers (Loyalists) of the Bahamian Islands and their way of life in the late 1700s. This tale will be extended with new insights in Mr. Seaberg’s new book, which is scheduled to be published later this year.

Part 2 of the book, Older Houses of Hope Town, features Mr. Seaberg’s original ink drawings of the oldest houses of the village and the only account to date of their history.  The dreams of building a new life are connected with the architecture of the original early houses of this picturesque Bahamian community.

Highlighting the architecture of the older houses in the Bahamian island, the book inspires travelers, island-cruising enthusiasts, architectural-history readers, and island dreamers.

To those interested to know more about the book, Hope Town will be featured at BookExpo America on May 11–13, 2016, at McCormick Place, Chicago. The event is an excellent time to network with authors, rights licensors, publishers, and other book-industry professionals.
