Owning a Birthplace, Awakening the Sense of Pride

Book author Bill Hart published the first of a two-book series in October 2015 entitled Maryland – Lord Baltimore’s Dream, a historical fiction that unravels the history of Maryland and Baltimore as they played significant roles in the advancement of the United States.

Maryland came into existence from the stories of the author’s family, which have been passed down from generation to generation. As the author aims to spark inspiration and sense of pride especially to the citizens of Baltimore and Maryland, he left a message to readers saying, “I hope you enjoy reading my books as much as I enjoyed writing them.”

About the Author

Bill Hart is an entrepreneur and an author. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland and an MBA from the University of Baltimore. After thirty-seven years of service as VP of Global Information Technology at McCormick and Company, he founded and owned several internet-based businesses. Additionally, his entrepreneurial, technical, and leadership skills aided him to become a successful securities trader.
