LANG Supports Milwaukee Public Television

WAUKESHA, Wis. April 26, 2016 - The LANG Companies, Inc. recently teamed up with Milwaukee Public Television to support an annual fundraising tradition, known as the Great TV Auction. The LANG Companies, Inc. was able to help support this event by providing product donations for the live television auction. LANG products such as a fashion tote filled with a wall calendar, coloring book, soy candle, etc. will be auctioned off during the live broadcast on Saturday, April 30, 2016, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. during a Treasures of Waukesha Neighborhood feature.  

“It’s a great way for The LANG Companies, Inc. to give back to Milwaukee Public Television and it helps us build new relationships within the community,” stated Julie Smith, Chief Marketing Officer at The LANG Companies, Inc. “Not only do we gain valuable television exposure but it allows us to continue our corporate mission of giving back to our communities.”

The unique, on-air fundraising event airs live on Milwaukee Public Television Channel 10 to Southeastern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. New merchandise, certificates, services, art, antiques, and collectibles are auctioned off to viewers who bid both by telephone and online. The funds raised from this live auction are used to purchase quality programming and maintain equipment for Milwaukee Public Television.
