TestAmerica to Host Webinar on Laboratory Data Quality and Ethics

TestAmerica, the leader in environmental testing, is launching a new series of Ask the Expert webinars focused on data quality and efficiency in environmental laboratory projects.  The series of four webinars will begin on February 11, 2016 and cover topics including quality and ethics, basic laboratory procedures, field sampling and the lab, and data delivery options.
 
The first webinar, presented on February 11, 2016, will be delivered by TestAmerica Expert Ray Frederici.  The webinar will provide an overview of environmental testing laboratories’ quality and ethics programs, and will address the importance of these programs when selecting a laboratory partner.  Specific topics that will be discussed by Mr. Frederici include the quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) parameters performed by laboratories, data integrity, laboratory certifications and strategies to manage risk when selecting a laboratory.

Mr. Raymond Frederici is TestAmerica’s Vice President of Quality and Environmental Health and Safety, and is 34 years tenured with TestAmerica and its legacy companies.  Mr. Frederici is responsible for establishing, implementing, monitoring and enforcing company-wide ethics, quality assurance, and health and safety programs. He holds a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Biology and a Masters in Business Administration.  He is active in numerous professional organizations including the American Council of Independent Laboratories, the Institute for National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation, the National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Conference and the Department of Defense Environmental Data Quality Workgroup.
