About the Author
Christel Decker Bresko was born to a religious mother and a Nazi father in Germany. As a child, she witnessed and experienced the terrors of war including food scarcity and epidemic diseases. After the war, she traveled to England with the blessing of her parents. She studied and earned her RN certificate before venturing out to America. Afterwards, she lived with her husband in Alaska for four years. Now happily retired, she enjoys walking, swimming, traveling, reading, and writing.
