Aerobiology Laboratory Associates’ California Lab Location Receives AIHA EMLAP Certification

Aerobiology Laboratory Associates, Inc. is proud to announce that its newest laboratory location in Huntington Beach, California has received the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) EMLAP Certification (#218951).  Aerobiology Laboratory’s CEO Suzanne Blevins stated, “At Aerobiology, we are known for our quality and commitment to our customers.  With our Huntington Beach laboratory receiving their accreditation, we can now increase our level of service to more clients in the Western United States.  Our staff in Huntington Beach has done a fantastic job to achieve this accreditation and we look forward to 2016 with six accredited laboratories.”

The Huntington Beach laboratory location will offer a full range of microbiology analysis.  This includes analysis of spore traps, direct microscopic examination, culturable air analysis, water, surface and bulk for bacteria and fungi.  In addition, it will offer sewage screen analysis by Colilert and Quantitray.  This AIHA EMPLAP accreditation is in addition to the NVLAP PLM asbestos certification that the laboratory currently holds.  These accreditations cover a wide range of services making this a full service laboratory, which will allow the clients in the Western United States the opportunity to experience the difference in quality and service offered by Aerobiology Laboratory Associates.
