ABIH® Facebook Page Celebrates 800 Supporters & Growing

The American Board of Industrial Hygiene® (ABIH®) uses social media to share information and updates with the industrial hygiene community.

Lansing, MI – WEBWIRE

We invite all CIHs and others in the profession to join the discussion at the ABIH® Facebook page, LinkedIn group and Twitter account.

This month, the American Board of Industrial Hygiene’s Facebook page reached a new milestone with its 800th follower.  The Facebook page, launched in late 2012, has been growing at a steady rate as more Certified Industrial Hygienists and industrial hygiene professionals turn to social media for news, updates and information.
Social media has become a convenient and fast way for ABIH® to disseminate information, share ideas and announce events that ABIH® will be participating in. In addition to a Facebook page, ABIH also has an active LinkedIn group and Twitter page.  ABIH® currently uses all three of these social media channels to post updates about the Certified Industrial Hygienist® (CIH®) program, promote industry certification, and provide a venue for industrial hygiene and environmental, health and safety professionals to communicate and learn from many of the industry’s top experts.
“We invite all CIHs and others in the profession to join the discussion at the ABIH® Facebook page, LinkedIn group and Twitter account,” said Susan Ripple, CIH® and Chair of ABIH®.  “These social media channels have been an effective means for us to share information while allowing members to network, ask questions, and even post and respond to job opportunities.”
Industrial hygiene professionals and other interested parties are encouraged to participate in the American Board of Industrial Hygiene’s social media channels at the following links:
