Dr. Borg is Pace University faculty, co-founding partner of Community Consulting Group and The Irrelationship Group and author of the book Irrelationship: How We Use Dysfunctional Relationships to Hide from Intimacy. He will be on a panel with the co-authors of Irrelationship that covers adding value to the iDating businesses with relationship education. The panel will discuss irrelationship as a novel new topic/theory that will help people in the dating industry better understand—and serve—its consumers/clients. Irrelationship is a jointly created psychological defense system that two or more people maintain to avoid awareness of the anxiety that’s part of becoming intimate with others, especially feelings about letting people see and know us for who we really are.
