The Elizabeth Hospice Hosts the County’s Longest-Running "Light Up a Life" Event on December 13

33rd annual ceremony honors the special people who have brightened our lives

The Elizabeth Hospice will host its 33rd Annual Light Up a Life on Sunday, December 13 from 3:30pm to 5:30pm at The Unity Center located at 8999 Activity Road, San Diego CA 92126. The event represents a time to be comforted and to share hope with others.  The Elizabeth Hospice’s Light Up a Life is open to the public with free admission and parking. Light Up a Life will include welcoming remarks from The Elizabeth Hospice President and CEO Jan Jones, along with a time of reflection, inspirational messages, and music. The highlight of the evening will be a poignant ceremonial candle lighting to remember and honor those who have touched our lives. 
           
In support of The Elizabeth Hospice’s nonprofit mission, a suggested donation of $35 will sponsor a light during the candle-lighting ceremony. With a donation of $100 or more, and upon request, individuals can receive a 2015 keepsake ornament. A personalized ornament is available with a donation of $250 or greater and additional sponsorship opportunities are available.
