“To be able to transfer that kind of knowledge onto pages for people to read and experience as a form of entertainment is one thing; to actually experience it and live with it for the rest of your life is another.”

Retired lieutenant Brian Cook publishes a character-driven saga that unequivocally snoops over the professional and personal lives of the law enforcement authorities.

“Hands Across the Sea” narrates the behind-the-scenes undertaking of the Office of the Sheriff (the Agency), the law of the County, and one of the distinguished law enforcement organizations of the United States. While under instability, the Agency is confronted with the unexpected: the changing of the guard.

In an interview conducted by J.R. O’Neill, Cook related his real-life experience, which inspired him in writing this novel. He said: “To be able to transfer that kind of knowledge onto pages for people to read and experience as a form of entertainment is one thing; to actually experience it and live with it for the rest of your life is another.”

Michelle Emerson, the owner of The Writer’s Assistant, praised the book stating: “I was taken full circle…so many unanticipated twists and turns to absorb that I was constantly engaged…”

Check out “Hands Across the Sea” at the 2015 Guadalajara International Book Fair which will be held on November 28-December 6, 2015 at the Expo Guadalajara exhibition center in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. Several materials from the author will also be exhibited during the whole event.
