Michael Keefe Agency and the Friends of the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery Announce Wreaths for Vets Charity Drive

Michael Keefe Agency, a local insurance firm that provides coverage for hundreds of businesses and families in throughout Central Texas, is launching a Wreaths for Vets charity drive with the help of volunteer organization Friends of the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.  
 
Opened in 2005 after more than ten years of work and planning, the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery now serves as the resting place for more than 5,000 veterans and family members. To honor the memories of our lost veterans, non-profit Friends of the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery is organizing a community-funded program to lay wreaths at each of these graves.
 
“It’s important to remember the sacrifices that so many of our veterans have made to safeguard our rights and liberties, and this charity drive honors their memory,” explains Michael Keefe, owner and manager of the Michael Keefe Agency.
 
Keefe and his team are mobilizing a significant online presence to spread the word about the charity event, incorporating both a social media presence and an email awareness campaign. In addition to supporting the Friends of the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery during the Wreaths for Vets charity drive, Michael Keefe and his team have announced an ongoing community improvement and have committed to working with at least one new charity or cause in central Texas every sixty days in the months to come.
