With her book, she aims to provide an understanding that stepfamilies can also be successful in raising creative, prosperous, and contented adults who can find it easier to adapt to change compared to others who were raised in nuclear or elementary families.

“StepWisdom,” a book published by author Eleanor Spackman Alden in 2010, has garnered several positive reviews and five-star ratings on the top online bookstore, Amazon, throughout the years. Readers have deemed the book as a valuable contribution to society as it tackles a subject that isn’t often widely discussed.

“StepWisdom approaches the immense historical wisdom available, combines it with modern family psychology research, and provides a path to making stepfamilies happier and more successful for all,” says Spackman.

This year, the book is about to create a buzz in the publishing world once again as the author partners with a promising publishing company (LitFire Publishing) who is going to take her book to the annual international book fair in Frankfurt, Germany.

With her book, she aims to provide an understanding that stepfamilies can also be successful in raising creative, prosperous, and contented adults who can find it easier to adapt to change compared to others who were raised in nuclear or elementary families.

Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estés, a Diplomate Jungian Psychoanalyst and Author of Women Who Run with the Wolves, says in her review of the book: This work can help others sow the seeds for a beautiful flowering within those special families called ’step’ -- as in ’step’ to a more fulfilling consciousness"

Lastly, the book was displayed in LitFire’s booth during the Frankfurt International Book Fair that happened last October 14 to 18 of 2015.
