From Teaching to Creative Arts, Rosalie Contino Shares How Her Dreams Came True

It is an inspirational autobiography that tells the story of how Rosalie followed her ambitions in life. It all started when at the age of 40, she took a bold move to change her career in order to realize her own dreams. From being a successful seventh-grade English teacher, she found herself practicing her newfound career in the arts.

As of the moment, she’s enjoying her professional life as a costume designer, costume historian, playwright, and lecturer. She never thought that her dreams will still come true but with hard work and courage, everything went well.

About the Author
 
Dr. Rosalie H. Contino, Ph.D. is an Italian-American living in Brooklyn, New York. She graduated with a degree in Elementary Education from Fordham University. After that, she earned her M.A. in Educational Theatre and later a Ph.D. in the same field, both from New York University. Aside from teaching and serving as a teaching fellow for the Program in Educational Theatre at New York University, Rosalie has worked as a costume designer, costume consultant and costume lecturer for numerous productions and events. More than that, she also published several poems on nature as well as articles on creative writing and dramatics.
