123bet increases distribution of contest wager
123gaming Inc. is celebrating the 1st birthday of 123bet.com since launching as a US licensed horse racing website showcasing the 123racing Pick6 challenge wager online. The commingled wager is now available on several licensed U.S. wagering websites, racetracks and OTBs. “Over the past 12 months our unique wager has proven to drive more players to bet on traditional wagers at racetracks offering content for the 123racing wager,” says Rob Earle, CEO.
Earle claims that their active online players who regularly play the 123racing wager compared to those that only play traditional bet types have wagered twice as much handle per head. With 19% more on exotics wagers and 16% more of their betting on participating 123racing tracks.
123bet.com has recently upgraded their site with a new look and improved functionality to mark the one-year milestone. The 123racing wager is now available on Saratogabets.com, RaceUWin.com, and MutuelsOnline.com, and soon to be available at Interbets.com with Tracks, OTBs, and the other US licensed websites to follow.
“I’m delighted the handicapping challenge style wager has followed on from our very popular Freeplay survival challenge contest websites and is proving to be on-trend with the rise of handicapping contests and fantasy sports across America,” says Earle.
Earle certainly has the pedigree for the business. He breeds, trains and drives standardbreds and has over 30 years of technology expertise. Earle is looking forward to working with the industry to introduce further innovative wager types for the next generation of horseplayers, and continuing to stimulate greater participation and value for their strategic partners and operators.
