Kentucky Exposition Center guest will soon have no problem staying connected when the Kentucky State Fair kicks off August 20. Texas based TPI will connect a new cellular based Distributed Antenna System (DAS) inside the 1.2 million square foot Kentucky Exposition Center. The new DAS is expected to dramatically transform wireless connectivity for some of the 600,000 guest visiting the State Fair of Kentucky via a highly efficient indoor antenna network that improves coverage and increases internet connectivity speeds for wireless devices.

TPI is well experienced with large venues like the Kentucky Exposition Center as TPI operates these DAS networks inside some of the largest and most famous event driven venues like Dallas Cowboys AT&T Stadium, Madison Square Garden, Los Angeles Forum and  KFC YUM Arena in Louisville. TPI spokesperson stated “it’s important for people to share their experiences with friends instantly and maintain contact with their friends”. The DAS system located inside the Kentucky Exposition Center will transform the attendee’s wireless experience during the Kentucky State Fair. Verizon was the first carrier to connect and TPI expects to announce two new carriers very soon. TPI is the industry leader in deploying and operating high-density neutral host wireless networks across all entertainment venues. TPI operates DAS networks across NCAA, NFL, NHL and NBA venues as well as large campus environments such as the University of Texas.
