TAG to Discuss the State of the Technology Industry in Middle Georgia

Where Georgia Leads Map for Middle Georgia Region will also be unveiled at event to be held at the Middle Georgia Regional Commission July 22nd

The Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), and the TAG Middle Georgia chapter will be presenting its annual 2015 State of the Industry: Technology in Georgia Report on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at theMiddle Georgia Regional Commission from 5:00-6:30 p.m.

Tino Mantella, TAG President/CEO at TAG will discuss the findings from TAG’s 2015 State of the Industry: Technology in Georgia Report, including the industry’s economic impact on the state of Georgia.

“Technology plays a significant role in Georgia’s economy, as evidenced through our economic impact study this year,” said Tino Mantella, president & CEO of TAG. “Our goal through this panel and other road show events across the state is to raise awareness about the increasing importance of technology to the state of Georgia and to help our state come together to foster an environment that drives Georgia to become one of the leading states in the nation for technology.”

In addition to the report, TAG will also unveil its official Where Georgia Leads (WGL) Map for the Middle Georgia Region. Technology leaders from around the area are invited to come out and see if their company is identified on the map, as well as learn about the state’s technology industry.

The State of the Industry: Technology in Georgia is TAG’s annual industry report to benchmark the growth of Georgia’s technology industry against previous years and other top technology states. Primary and secondary research is conducted by Internet Decisions, LLC., including TAG’s annual Technology Decision-Makers Survey which polls top executives from more than 120 state technology companies about their plans to hire, expand and invest in their Georgia operations.
